Every Week:

Ocean Grill:  Live Music on Monday, Thursday, and Friday

Gecko Gazebo:  “Open Mike Night” on Wednesdays from December through April: local talent (and island visitors!) serenade, croon and jam from 7 pm – 10 pm

The Tap Room: Happy Hour everyday from 4PM to 6PM and Beer Pong Saturday nights 8PM -12PM

Monthly:

Bajo el Sol - Selected Artist Reception January thru June on the first Friday of each month.

Ocean Grill's Wine Club is a fabulous evening steered by a representative from West Indies Distributors, often accompanied by featured winery owners or managers. Enjoy four or five glasses of wine which are paired perfectly with appetizers by chef Ribelto de Leon Cordero and team. Tickets are required to attend Wine Club. Call (340-693-3304) or stop by to pick up your tickets. Ticket prices: $30 plus $6 gratuity; total $36 per ticket. Wine club is held monthly, except September, and begins promptly at 6:30pm.

Annual Events:

May: Music in the Moonlight hosted by Gecko Gazebo, is where many locally talented (and visitors) and bands play their own styles of music, - we are always astounded by some we didn’t even know could sing!

July 4th: Mongoose Junction is the very best place to watch the St John Festival Annual Fourth of July Parade, starting at 11:am

October: 2010 HALLOWEEN AT MONGOOSE JUNCTION IS FRIDAY, OCT. 29 3 - 5 PM
All shops and offices open their doors and baskets of candy as all school kids are welcomed to Trick or Treat on Halloween between 3 – 5 pm

November: The Friday after Thanksgiving is “Evening in the Courtyard” when all stores kick off the Holidays with late night shopping (until 9 pm during high season),  live music, special in store offerings, and a wonderful time for island visitors and locals to hang out at Mongoose Junction.

December: The 16th Annual All Island Holiday Party will take place in Mongoose Junction on December 10 from 8:00 pm. The event is hosted by The Mongoose Merchants Association and the Restaurants of Mongoose Junction.

Ocean Grill, The Tap Room, La Planca del Mar, Sun Dog Cafe and Gecko Gazebo Bar are sponsors and each will be doing their part to provide a fantastic evening of holiday celebration for the wide mix of people who will attend.

The All Island Holiday Party (aka “the prom”) has its roots in trying to rebuild the community after Hurricane Marilyn in 1995, and through the years has become a social highlight for many full time St. Johnians and
a homecoming for many seasonal residents. It’s an opportunity to dress up and celebrate the holidays and our life together on St. John.

Music will be performed by St. John’s own “Ah We” Band, and other entertainments thorughout the beautiful courtyards of Mongoose Junction. A special champagne bar will be sponsored by Ocean Grill. La
Plancha del Mar will present an oyster and champage bar, feature a DJ and Sun Dog Cafe will provide an hors d’oeuvres table in front of Sun Dog Cafe. Tap Room will host a late night DJ party, starting at midnight.

Mongoose Junction will be full of festive decorations for the season. Hors D’Oeuvres will be served. Cash bars will be available. Adults only, please. Island Fancy Attire, please.
